*Note:  On September 18, 2024, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) introduced updated eligibility criteria for the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP). As of November 1, 2024, applicants for study permits must be enrolled in programs within specific fields that address long-term labour shortages in Canada to qualify for a PGWP after graduation.
